elcome to Juniper Gallery, the online home of historical fine-art prints from Shorpy.com and Vintagraph.com. Our prints are struck at the Juniper Gallery studios in Fairfax, Virginia, and Huntsville, Alabama, on mould-made Arches Infinity fine-art paper from France in a range of sizes. Special Edition prints use 28 mil paper (similar to mat board in thickness); other sizes use 19 mil paper (similar to posterboard in thickness, but much nicer). Our largest size, the 44 x 36 Special Edition Magnum print, is struck on extra-heavy 36 mil Somerset Velvet stock. All papers are acid-free, 100 percent cotton-rag archival stock, printed with museum-grade six- and eight-color inks from high- resolution (50 to 200mb) scans of the original archived source materials (glass plates, sepia prints, large-format negatives and Kodachrome transparencies). Prints come with one-inch to two-inch blank borders for matting and framing and are shipped in large-diameter (four- or six-inch) heavy-duty mailing tubes. Each print is made-to-order; please allow two weeks for delivery (three weeks for Special Edition prints).
